The thanksgiving to ERDS story of Sandipan Mondal:

This is the thanksgiving to ERDS story of Sandipan Mondal who is from Jaiton village,  District Malda (West Bengal, India). Here is his first person account.

“My father’s name is Suresh Chandra Mondal. In cooperation with Economic Rural Development Society (ERDS), I am associated with the sponsorship program for the past 10 years. As a result of my inclusion with the program, I have taken various kinds of training like YLT (Youth Leadership Training), YHC (Youth Health Corps) Camp and the budget program of the youth wing. I was a locality wing leader of the youth wing.  Apart from participating in all the programs of the youth wing, I was also involved in letting others know about various programs. Every year, we used to take part in road rallies about health issues from our own locality. We used to come from every locality and then assemble at ERDS. My growing up thereafter was helped by ERDS and SAHAY sponsorship program. Apart from my studies, ERDS has also helped me with clothes like shirt and pant, shoes and medicines and other requirements like room flooring, tin for roof and a latrine. I have passed my Madhyamik (Secondary) Examination from Ganguria Sri Sri Sharda Tirtham Ucchya Vidyalay(High School) with 81% marks. At present, I am studying science at Pakuahat Ananda Niketan Mahabir High School and I have applied for the HOPE Scholarship program.

I will never be able to forget my establishment. That is why I am extending my deep-felt thanks to ERDS.”
